Clemson just beat the gamecocks, the officials, the announcers, espn IN Columbia. It is time that these guys start getting some respect from Tiger Net amidst all of the Great Accomplishments of Football. There is a reason to be excited about this years basketball team. Brownell is doing a great job!

I am excited about the Clemson basketball team! I always have high hopes for them. So far they look pretty good and I expect the we will see improvement as the year goes on.

Being one of the naysayers, admittedly I was able to watch the entire game without being frustrated too much. But I still think they're no more than a 'bubble team' for the tourney. I really didn't think USUC was all that great of a team, especially without arguably their best player.
I will say they are tons better than any CLEMSON team I've seen in several years. That doesn't make them great, but they are competitive and will win some good games. So there is hope, which is more than I've seen since BB's first season. Maybe if BB gets several good recruits, then his coaching will appear to be much better. I thought he coached well tonight, especially with the 2-3 zone in the final minute of play, which totally confused USUC. Good job IMO.

Agree totally. Refs were bad however we can be really spastic. Refs were really biased.

the road is easy, and despite the students being on leave for holiday they brought out a solid crowd of locals nonetheless. Sweater vests were aplenty.
As usual, we'll be a tough out, but this squad looks like it can finish off a little stronger than we're used to seeing. We're putting together a solid non-con record ahead of league play - best in Brownell's tenure. You gotta like what's going on the court para los Tigres right now.
Add to that there's four new entries into the rotation over last year that are Magellen with the establishment this well during pre-league - I don't know - looking good.

It's very hard for most around here to get into basketball until football is over... especially when we are in the playoff.
This bball team deserves our support no matter what.
