hold off or reconsider the team 12 playoff because SEC and ESPN were not operating in good faith (or lying) about what they were secretly doing behind the scenes with OU and UT when 12 team expansion was being hatched out.

Don’t blame them. At first glance it appears the SEC will get 6-8 teams in every season.

Because top 10 teams will be beating top 10 teams and the losers will drop, at most, 2 spots for their first and second losses. While on the flip side Clemson drops 2 spots for only beating a team by a point on the road or by only 20 at home.

They are far away from having 6-8 teams per year. Texas is

not going to be a power in the SEC. Their last 10 seasons record was 78-60, of which included 5 losing seasons. Oklahoma is very much like Texas. Play well a few games, then start tanking.

You're spot on owenb. Happens every year in sec and b1g. But when you look at the end of the year, said top 10 teams that they beat are no where to be found.
Plus, we beat a top ranked team, they get removed from the rankings. Perfect example, winless coots beat uga at home and they drop 2 spots.

IVe been waiting for the other conferences to realize that this is the best weapon available to negate the SEC power-play. The SEC only has 1 vote, although ND may side with SEC

ND was in bed with the SEC on this all along. Unfortunately, the G5 conferences will go along as well because they get 1/12 of the pie instead of 0/4.

Where are you seeing this info?
Definitely in ACC’s best interest to kill the 12-team playoff, so I hope it’s true.

B1G commissioner has also said to pump the brakes on 12 team playoff expansion due to the new SEC developments.
