AP POLL: Top 4 One Loss teams are...

all in the SEC....they never get penalized by more than a few spots for every loss, no matter who its against. I knew Mich would drop some for that ugly win over Akron, but how does UCLA not move ahead of SC? UCLA destroyed a top 25 team on the road and SC barely escapes Vandy.

It is even more a problem this year with so many SEC teams getting beat out of conference. Tenn and Kentucky got beat yesterday. Tenn's whipping was just that... a whipping. Kentucky lost their 2nd OOC game this year.... And yeah, it is Kentucky, but last I checked, they were still the mighty SEC.

At some point the voters have to get over the SEC affiliation. Yeah, they have crap academic requirements, but it takes more than signing the players that everyone else says can't make it in college.

Oh gimme a break. Do you honestly think UGA isn't better than an undefeated UCLA? Maryland is undefeated too you know.

Nebraska hasn't been a premier team in ages. Beating them is impressive, but not amazing. To be fair though, we don't have any road games that tough until SC.

Still... what I'm saying is I'd be way less scared of UCLA than SC.

on strong in the second half. They may not be there yet, but Mora is making steady progress and considering USC's demise, their recruiting is on an uptrend too. SCar might be more of a challenge now, but by the end of the season I expect UCLA to be much improved.

well, we will never know because we don't play ucla unless it is in a bowl game. but sc will be tough as an away game. their o looks good but their d doesn't. we will have to out score them imo.
