I’d be curious to see his Ohio State transcript.***

This statement pretty much tells you all you need to know.
"At the end of the day, I don’t got nothing to prove to nobody, so I’m not finna sit here and say how I process football.".
Doesn't bode well for a school that generally has a top 50 academic ranking and a top tier ranking as a research university.

I think that test they take is pretty important. Although Stroud says he’s a football player, part of being an NFL QB heavily includes pre-snap adjustments, as well as adjusting to defenses throughout a game and throughout the season.
It’s not really a reflection of Ohio State or any school, but just their instinct and natural knowledge. Stroud’s a good QB, but this shows that defensive coordinators may be able to eat him alive before he gets to year 3 or so because of his slower ability to take in information (cognition).

Somebody at Ohio State should be saying, "pssst CJ. .

"CJ.. . . that doesn't sound quite right; can you clean that up? As we have a good reputation for academic excellence; you not being a test taker kind of speaks to our claim being bull -bleep"
-Random Ohio State alum.
I get what he is getting at; but as a few of you have pointed out. You had better be someone that can take in information and process it. Otherwise, you will be exposed early in your career. He's not a physical specimen like Cam or a freak of nature fast like Lamar. Clearly not cerebral like A.A. Ron or Brees - so; what is his strength?
The Panthers shouldn't take him. But, probably will. What Ohio State QB has done well in the NFL TNET? Serious question? They have had some who put up big numbers; but I can't recall any doing anything to write home about in the league.
The other option isn't great either!

Justin Fields has looked capable of creating with his mobility, but hasn’t had receivers to show off his arm really. But still, yeah I don’t know a very good one yet.
Bryce Young scored a 98%. Along with his tape, he’s the for sure #1 in this class.
Honestly with Bryce, I see similarities to DW4 with his intelligence, confidence, and conviction. Deshaun could break down any play you drew out in a matter of seconds as far as what your pre-snap reads are as well as post snap for watching DBs. I don’t know if Gruden still does his QB camp, but if Young participates, you’ll likely see similar to Russell Wilson and DW.

If he is a 2nd coming of Russell Wilson; "i'll take that"! RW is only 5'11.
As a Panthers fan( yeah, I know, I know) I think we are going to likely pick B. Young. I just worry about him lasting NFL hits.

QB is the position where tests like this matter the most. I don't want a ####### QB leading my team.

Agreed! The person who created the term; "student-athlete" even said, "it's a farse"!
People for a long time have convinced themselves; it's not true. But, my guess is that what you said here is true for 60% of kids playing CFB.
I would be elated to find out; I am wrong in some solid way. But, no way I would believe different otherwise.

Yeah…I’m sure that test isn’t 100% accurate but he took it multiple times and the highest score was 18%?
I see two scenarios and neither would justify me drafting him.
1. He just didn’t give a crap about the test and didn’t take it seriously because he was too bombastic.
2. He dumb.
Again either way I’m not wasting a draft pick to find out.
