a territory to be independent so he could rename his army as 'peacekeepers', there is nothing to defend. Trump says some stupid stuff, but that was mostly a dig at Biden: "He's a step ahead of you." One could call it an irrelevant remark - there is little we could or should have done to prevent that - but there is nothing to attack or defend there, imo.
