I think that would be our best recipe to win.

What they should do is come out throwing like Spurrier decided to do against us. I think they're too stubborn to change, which is why I think we've got a good shot to win this game.

I think that's exactly what they are going to try to do.Our problem is is not hoping that they come out throwing.Our problem is stopping their stable of 4 running backs when we could not stop a back up qb from running up decent #'s against us.
We have no shot if they pound the ball for 3 or 4 yds per carry.

Go back and reread my post.
I said 3 or 4 yards per carry.2 carries at 3 yards + 1 carry at 4 yards ='s move the sticks.

we've done a good job of shutting teams down on the ground. So yes I'm hoping that we continue to stop the run and they continue to try and pound us in the middle.

Don't count on it. Say whatever you'd like about him, Mettenberger is a very talented qb and LSU has solid receivers. Not as good as Clemson's, but they are pretty good.
