Anyone familiar with Deion Holmes from Chesnee HS?

Saw comments about him in SI. Scored 63 pts against Carolina HS and averages 38ppg. Curious what offers he had before commiting to USC-Upstate.

6'3" 190-200 lbs kid is his whole team

Averages 40 pts 14 rebounds a night if he played for a bigger school he would be highly recruited. Holmes is a tremendous driver and can make threes with consistency. On Friday night he should move into second place on the all time points scored list for the state. The kid is better than Gaffney's LJ Peak who is at Georgetown. USC Upstate was first to offer on D-1 level from my understanding, but if something better comes along he will definitely look.

Kid comes from a tremendous high character family and one of the better high school basketball players I have ever seen. Every game this kid is double and triple teamed all game long.

He just scored 60 points against liberty high school and checked out with 4 minutes to go
