and after watching numerous replays of the incident, it was clear the blocking foul on the Clemson guard underneath the basket with just a few seconds left in the game was a bad call. Clemson had just taken the lead by one and after getting the ball quickly downcourt, the Wake forward blatantly charged into the Tiger guard who had easily set herself in position to take the charge.
One of the ensuing free throws was missed and the game was tied....a horrific inbounds pass by Clemson with nearly no time left allowed Wake to score the winning layup basically at the buzzer....however, had the call underneath the basket been made correctly, the Lady Tigers would've won. I assume the Clemson coach will send the video to Greensboro for yet another futile review.
Not a huge women's basketball fan, but even I could see neither of those teams was very good.

Apparently you have to be fully outside of that half circle underneath the goal for it to be a charge. I don't think our defender was. Therefore it was the right call. Still a bad loss. Horrible inbounds pass at the end.

Love all my Tiger teams but young lady from Wake who hit the winning shot, from same school as my kids.Great player and a better person. All state regardless of classification, But as usual no one from Clemson ever recruited her.

Yes that was definitely a tough loss but that's been the norm now for the last 11 years and if this 9-12 Lady Tiger Basketball team does not find a way to turn this season around and have a winning record then it will have been 11 count'em losing seasons in a row for the women's program and will also be 11 seasons without making any kind of postseason(WNIT or NCAA)with the last coming in Jim Davis' final season.It's pretty #### sad that the athletic department over the last 11 years has let the program get in the shape it's in.

I saw the last minute of play. The player inbounding should've just heaved it way down court instead of trying to get it to the nearest player on her side of half court.
Anyone know why there are eight freshmen on the roster? Thought there were several last season and there's just two sophs this year.
