Anyone else hoping ACC refs go full Tobacco Road on Pitt?

I hope Wake gets to the free-throw line twice as much as Pitt.
I hope Pitt has two bigs foul out midway through the second half.
I hope Jamie Dixon gets T-ed up twice.
It would be sweet.

What did PITT do? The played hard until the last second and got an opportunity to make the final shot. Was there a foul? NO! The ball came their way and the took the shot. It came down to the refs... so why be against PITT? AND Jamie Dixon is a great coach and great person... T-him up if you feel that will make you feel better over a loss that occures last Saturday. Get a life.

Element is a Pitt basketball fan. I would just ignore what he says concerning Pitt unless you want a colored version of it. Nothing wrong with being a Pitt fan, just saying Element is going to take up for them on here.

Pitt can have that 5th seed and the road that goes along with it. I am totally fine with where that loss landed us in terms of the teams we are in line to play.
I think even if we had beat them we would still need to win the ACC Tourney to get in, so I like this spot just fine.

I just don't think a win against Pitt and then one against a team like Wake or Notre Dame gets us in the discussion. Not with our SOS, etc. Another win over Duke would do more to turn some heads. But hey, just my 2 cents.
Doesn't matter unless we take care of business tonight.

I am a PITT basketball fan and a Clemson football fan. If Jamie Dixon ever leaves PITT I will change to a Clemson basketball fan. I never saw the game just the replay and even that was quick. My point is why blame a team for being in the right place and getting a shot off..whether it was in in time or not. Why blame PITT and every coach works the refs...just the way games go. I would love to see both teams play again and make it in the NCAA Tourney. PITT to me is a bubble team, they have lost a lot of close games but really do not have a signature win. They thing helping them is their history of being in the tourney..the selection committee takes that into consideration.

Not true.. there is no reason why you cannot like two schools. I grew up there and if you have ever been to a basketball game there you would see why...they do not have to offer any promotions to get fans to walk through 1 degree weather up a mountain to the Peterson Events Center.

Just wondering, why aren't you a Pitt football fan and Clemson bball fan? Curious as to how you came to that determination. Of course, being the fan you so described probably works out more in your favor in terms of wins and losses. Good for you!

My daughter is a Clemson graduate and I live here. The atmosphere at Clemson is unreal to any PITT game plus they have changed coaches since I left and I really respect and like Dabo. I stay with Pitt in basketballe because of the same reason..Jamie Dixon. Unlike what some people here think he is a great guy and proven winner...and his style of play reminds me of Brownell.
