Tony's "bad" year is primarily a result of terrible QB play and inferior line play - is there an OC in the country that could have been 11-1 with this group - I don't think so. Hope he stays, we have enough turmoil on the defensive side.

Agree. Games lost are not always due to coaching. You have to have someone that can throw and catch and block.

DJ finished the season rated 120 out of 126 and dead last out of all QBs attempting at least 225 passes. We also had freshman RBs and lacked playmaking at WR. I'm not sure anyone could have done any better with this group. I wouldn't mind him staying but I would expect a big improvement next year.

To me, it’s a direct reflection of those in charge of the offense (in other words, Elliott).
We are still way more talented than the rest of the ACC, and shouldn’t have struggled like we did.

I’d put my money on Dave Clawson to have produced infinitely better with that group than we actually did. He has done so with much less talent for years now.

I want a new guy at OC.
for the record I'd prefer an outside hire for OC.
however, if given the choice of Elliott staying OR Streeter being promoted..........I'll go with Streeter, there's at least a chance or glimmer of hope that Streeter makes the tweaks needed and paves his own path out of TE's "shadow".

Im ok with him going. His very public job search cant be helping recruiting. If he wants to be gone its time flr him to go.

I guess I’m in the minority. I’d prefer he stay. He’s a great coach. Bottom line is the staff needs to recruit better.

I want him to stay and do something else other than call plays. He's a good man, great coach and good recruiter. I just dont like his playcalling.

I’d like him to stay but l’d mainly like him to make a freakin decision. Geez
Him staying would mean less collateral damage of other lost coaches. I think we need him to stay. Don’t want more staff turnover when a coach or two goes with him.

I want him to stay. He’s a CU grad and an all around good guy. HOWEVER, if he stays he AND Dabo seriously need to consult Chad Morris, Jamie Chadwell, Art Briles, etc. and do some serious revamping of our playbook. It’s grown stale and needs life brought back into it.
