the ACC/NCAA? It was obviously a horrendous call and even the replay guy in the booth pointed it out, along with Pollock.

Ridiculous call. That is how they want you to hit now and he did it the right, clean way and still got ejected. Freaking ridiculous.

He did everything he could possibly do to avoid "targeting"......I understand if they want to call the penalty.....but they have the discretion to reverse the ejection....during the game/call. I think it's an AWFUL rule.....too much discretion involved:(

That is what football is all about. If they are gonna allow refs to call penalties on hits like that then they might as well take all the pads off and just play with jerseys. Oh well, the D did seem to play more fired up after that.
