Any update on how D.J. Greenlee is progressing?

Seeing as defense is a pretty big need in our class, just curious to see if the Greenlee scholarship is looking any better then before. Anyone have any insight into this?

Dude has no business on a D1 football team and I say that based on his play during high school. What makes it worse is that we need help on defense, a LB prospect who is legit wants to come to CU, and now we can't take him due to this crap

Most Legit D1 prospects stand out in your typical High school game. You can easily spot them after a series or two. Not the case here. Not a difference maker.

I think his dad is associated with Clemson's strength program. I figured by now DJ would be bulked up since committing, but from what I have heard he has not. I hope I am wrong but I think its a wasted scholly. Dont even think he is in the top 50 in our state. Again I hope I'm wrong.

I was watching some of his highlights tonight and have tried to track him all season to see how he was doing... Kid is a waste of a spot to be honest. the whole time the only thing i could think was maybe he and Olgesby are good friends and we offered Greenlee as an insurance policy. I dont see what the coaching staff sees in him hopefully he proves me wrong when he gets here.

I feel bad for the kid.
Personally, I don't think we should have offered him. Not because I'm selfish and want a better player, but because he's going to have to deal with people saying that his offer was the result of WHO he is and not his performance on the field.
There may be some partial truth to that...there may not...I don't know. But he's in a tough spot. I'll be rooting for him to prove the doubters wrong.
