Any update on Bresee?

Oct 3, 2022, 1:27 PM

What specifically is the kidney issue? Injury, stones? Sure would be nice to have him for the upcoming road trips.

Kidney stones are some of the most horrific pains any man or women can have. If you have never had a kidney stone, I pray you don't ever have to experience that nightmare of a medical issue.

Men at 25 play football. Men at 40 play tennis. Men at 60 play golf. Have you noticed as men get older their balls get smaller.

Had lots of experience with my wife and daughter with kidney stones. Blood tests and several days of monitoring were not part of the protocol. David Hood reported its a kidney issue. Dabo said there was some scary moments, so based on that my guess it’s a kidney infection that was showing signs of going septic. When my wife saw him on the sideline, she immediately said no way is he still trying to pass a stone.

20 year-olds aren't supposed to have kidney problems.

I hope he's getting the medical workup and treatment he needs.

I had a kidney stone at age 15. He obviously had something

else going on, more serious than that. (Although, at the time you are actually trying to pass a kidney stone, you don't think there is anything that could BE more serious than that!)

:(

Oh how I wish I could say I hadn't !!!!

Sadly...far more times than I can count.

Blood tests aren't typically part of the treatment for kidney stones.

He’s good to go just as soon as the doctors clear him today!

It was a Kidney stone, not uncommon, many of us have passed huge rocks before.

Had one when I was 16, I’m 45 now and have never felt any pain comparable to a kidney stone.

I have had kidney stones my entire life. The first at age 9. Let me tell ya , you would almost prefer to be tortured by the Taiban than to have a kidney stone. I had a lithotripsy for tge last one. I don't think he has one because you wouldn't want to be moving around aggravating it if you did. Or maybe he's had that done and is recovering. That's possible I suppose. In any event my prayers are with him and hope he's on the field soon. We miss him

Kidney stone? Did someone say kidney stone? A plague on both

Oct 3, 2022, 4:46 PM

your houses and all your descendants for that memory. About 15 years ago I woke up at 4am and thought I'd been shot in the lower back by a 12 gauge shotgun. On the way to the hospital I was screaming at my wife to run all the redlights, because I was dying. Couldn't even walk, I crawled through the Emergency Room door on all fours screaming for help, and gasping "Oh God, please help me".

Naturally, one of the ER nurses eventually said - Now you know what childbirth is like. Another nurse who overheard it said - Never mind her, I've had several kidney stones myself, and I've given birth to two kids, and the kidney stones were way worse...
