job? My daughter is looking for help and gets a sweet bonus if she finds someone. Job is at Cape Canaveral. Contamination control and planetary protection. It's basically analysis and operations to make sure spacecrafts do not get contaminated from the rocket while inside the payload fairings.
She loves her job.

Mercury, Gemini, Atlas programs. We got some John Glenn signed stuff somewhere.
Clemson grad and he loved it when they hired CU engineers.

Niece is entering CU in the fall doing either Chem E or Bio-Chem, bonus is that we are only 30 min south of Cape Canaveral. If she ever needs an intern give me a shout.
Niece ain't like her auntie. National Merit Scholar, studies instead of partying.

Son of had similar academic credentials....Clemson wanted him so badly they generously kicked in enough to make it only $35k a year to go there.

be about $6k/year after all's said and done....it was a no-brainer. And with these two kids at peak expense right now, I know for a fact that my means are < your means.

but she's already been notified she's receiving a full academic scholarship.
She has two things your son doesn't.... female in engineering, and a minority (Chinese)

We started out in the president's office on her campus tour this summer.

My daughter started there with an internship

she was probably going to get a phd but that internship changed her mind. They are paying for her MS in Space Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins. They have a big internship program where the spoil the heck out of them. I imagine most interns are rising Seniors, but I do remember there were some that were on their second internship and maybe even third internship with the same company. My daughter interned someplace else her junior year, which helped with this job.
Interns in engineering make $20 plus per hour and if you have an internship you are highly sought after. Regular jobs don't help at all. If she is interested next year hit me up and I'll connect her with my daughter.
