For Bama, the NCAA leaves it up to Saban to decide.
He just calls it a “violation of team rules” for getting caught, so they can play if needed.

Saban gets by with a lot because they don't want to take the heat. Saban is a master of manipulating media and press. He speaks what is on his mind. He has no filter. Had this happened to Bama, Saban would have worked the issue so hard that he would have the media talking about the fools at the NCAA being inept, incompetent, and trying to enforce impossible standards. He would have every talking head on tv and radio ridiculing the NCAA. He is the media master. I wish Dabo would get nasty on this one.
