Any HHI residents?

May 17, 2017, 6:43 AM

Heading down there for a golf charity event plus college reunion.

Any suggestions on dining and nightlife? 30-45 crowd on this trip.

Tia

Go Tigers - I'll be rocking My paw all weekend.

For dining, great bar & some music up on 2nd floor..

4 Seafood & great ICWater-view try Hudson's Seafood on back deck only & some type music..

Or go one door down to locals fav Skull Creek's Boathouse for backyard Tikki Hut Bar & Dining by water..

4 Casual Rum runner drinks by beach maybe with music try The world famous Timki Hut behind Hol Inn near Coligny Plaza..

I like ELA's at opp end of Shelter Cove since on 2nd floor & overlooks the harbor full of boats and super outdoor deck..

X & O Lounge is small but neat modern bar & interior with TV's & usually live music..

Oh, bring Wallet & Patience with Tourists & Yankees (mainly from OhiO).

downtown bluffton is pretty cool these days

May 17, 2017, 8:42 AM

which is right before you go on the island. Promenade Street is about a 15 minute drive off the island. Downtown they have created a new small entertainment district with restaurants, bars, music, etc. Very cool...at this point anyways. It didn't seem too overcrowded yet so i don't think its well known to this point but food is great and you have about 5 or 6 good restaurants to choose from. but you always have shelter cove, the mall area, and Coligney and those areas but Bluffton is very lowcountry-esque. Parking kinda sux but its fun. for kids and adults.

Tiki Bar by beach behind Hol Inn near Coligny Plaza which is our Main Street in effect but just a strip shopping Center.

Oh, the Frosty Frog at Coligny Plaza for casual outdoor eating, TV's, sand & firepit, indoor & outdoor bars, great fries, slushie licquor drinks or beer, etc.

Isn't much on atmosphere, but the food is good!

Another vote for sea shack here.
My favorite is lowcountry backyard off palmetto Bay Rd.
