will be going for outside the stadium Saturday afternoon? Upper? Lower? I've never bought one outside the stadium so just curious what kind of prices to expect for a big game if I wait until the day of.

Last year, the ticket office had a TON of perfect counterfeits made for the FSU and Notre Dame games. If you buy a counterfeit, you'll be directed to CUPD to give a statement, and then you can enjoy the game from a nearby TV.

Counterfeits seem to go for cheaper.

I bought tickets the day of for ND and FSU last year.

ND - I got two in the lower deck for $50 each. Clemson fan standing there with his kid said he was just trying to get rid of them bc they got better seats. This was about 5pm or so (exact timing is fuzzy, tailgating started at 8:30am) only downfall was being about 3 rows in front of the overhang. Everyone behind us looked so dry lol

FSU - bought two from a scalper across the street from TD's as we were walking to the game. Paid $140 each. Got towards the stadium with another friend looking for one and it seemed everyone was looking and no one was selling. It was a complete cluster! She got really lucky and found a kid who appeared lost selling just one and when she asked how much he said "I dunno, $50".

I did have 3 friends buy counterfeits for FSU. Knowing them, they didn't pay more than $50 each for lower deck. They ended up getting in because they got lucky with the lady claiming she was experiencing issues with her scanner. When they got to the seats, there were people with identical tickets (those people had the real tickets).

I'm buying them on Saturday this time. I'm expecting to pay around what I did for FSU last year because I want to go in before the game starts.

I paid $125 for a single ticket at FSU last year. Bought from a scalper as a last resort (I always avoid them at all costs). As others have mentioned, there were very few people selling and a LOT of people looking. Got to the gate and the ticket had already been scanned...but thankfully the people let me in anyway and I stood on the hill.

This is a MUCH bigger game so my guess is tickets will be very scarce. I would plan on $150+ for lower bowl, and don't plan on getting more than 2 together.
