What realistic scenario can you possibly cook up where apple flavored liquor is your only choice? And why are you sampling multiple brands of it? That’s what you drink when you’re in high school and your friend’s older sibling buys you the cheapest dark liquor he can find

Why are you asking for bourbon drinkers and then listing to garbage liquor products. On top of that, Crown Royal is a blended Canadian whisky not a bourbon. Just stick to Blanton's or Noah's Mill and you won't have any issues or questions.

Ok, I’ll be glad to try the Noah’s... only reason I mentioned these brands was cause they were $1.09 for mini bottles at the liquor store just left from.... I mean a dollar and nine cents ?
I guess that’s why it was on sale cause nobody wants that kind

Don't let them bother you, it is good to try different ones to learn what you like. I have had both Crown and Jim Beam apple and liked them both. I am a bourbon drinker, so the flavor ones are not what I drink, but those 2 are both good. For $1.09 what the heck, you can't go too wrong.

I understand trying discout/almost free booze. Only yanking your chain on classifying either as bourbon. If you want to try flavored bourbons, look for the Bird Dog brand and try the chocolate. I tried the apple version and it was a bit sweet. The peach is one of their best sellers.

Canadian whiskey is all blended, and pretty much the only blended whiskey I will drink, if I'm in a rare mood.
There is a difference.
Blended American whiskeys take cheap final products, then mix them. They take a cheap finished bourbon, a cheap finished rye, a cheap finished corn liquor, etc. and then mix em together for a ######, overpriced "bourbon" that is just a mishmash of other ###### aged bourbons. The other thing about "blended" bourbon: the label may SAY "10 years" or older, but its not actually. It only lists the age of the oldest bourbon blended in. For example: Birddog 10 year. Absolute ####. Its also not 10 years. I dont know how many bourbons they blend into it, but lets say they use 5 bourbons. 4 of those are ######, raw, 3 year old bourbons from no name mass distilleries that comprise 99% of the bottle. Then, they will literally pour a couple drops of a leftover 10 year old bourbon into the bottle. The bourbon has now "technically" been "blended" with bourbon that is up to 10 years old, so they can say its "10 year old blended bourbon whiskey". Its complete bull. Stay away from blended bourbons.
Canadian blended whiskeys are vastly different, and higher quality. Each individual ingredient is distilled and aged separately, and then all blended together in different percentages to create the final product. It usually results in a really smooth, flavorful whiskey that can have unique flavors without artificial flavoring. Crown Royal is fantastic example.

that I prefer bourbon in the fall and winter as opposed to the summer, but the jim beam apple bourbon gives me a good bourbon feel in a summertime drink , and a little like a girly summer drink without being too girly , although the women like it too... goes well with diet cranberry so I lose a little weight too....lol...

^^^^ He gets it. The only flavor you should taste is oak/woodsy, leather, chocolate/caramel and floral. Also in some rare cases fruity notes. Don’t mess with that flavored junk. If it’s to strong for you put some water in it. Buffalo Trace, Blanton, Elmer T Lee and Weller are hard to find. Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve, Four Roses Single Barrel, Colenel EH Taylor are good go to’s. So far I’ve been enjoying the Four Roses SB, but the Knob creek SB is a bit sweeter and a higher proof of 120. Enjoy them both, you could flip a coin to pick either and still win. DONT MIX with coke!!!! Drink neat with some water if need be. I feel Coke ruines a good bourbon. Also keep in mind Bourbon is made in the good ol USA only. So Crown Royal is not a bourbon. It’s a Canadian Whiskey.

I'll bite...
I would not normally drink apple flavored bourbon or any kind of whiskey. However, I have done several multi-day backpacking trips lately and grabbed a few of the 100ml (3 for$5) size JB Apple to throw in the backpack. They are great even when lightly chilled (creek water). It is a better treat when sipping straight and not over ice, in my opinion, than straight Bourbon. If at home, over a good KSB.
Many people will never drink any whiskey straight so this is one that most can tolerate and even enjoy. But yes, IMO, better than Crown apple.

Jim Beam Apple is not bourbon. Bourbon cannot have artificial flavors. There are actually very strict federal laws regulating what is and isnt bourbon. If you read the label, it says "Apple flavored liqueur made with Jim Beam Bourbon".
