Any 09S National Guard soldiers with a state commission?

Got my degree from Clemson last August and just enlisted in the NC National Guard as an 09S. Would love to get in touch with anyone gotten a state commission rather than federal OCS to learn more about what to expect. I ship next month!

I imagine it isn't much different FWIW.
If you haven't been to BCT, don't worry, it's easy. Do what you're told, be a sponge, and have fun.
The biggest things to focus on are before OCS are...
-Physical fitness-be ahead of the pack when you arrive and you can stay there. -Academic requirements aren't significant if you graduated from Clemson. Just put in a little effort to memorize the right things and don't be dumb.
When you get to your first unit. -Don't pretend to know everything. Soldiers love teaching the new LT how to do their job. Just retain the information, some will be good and some not-so good. You can use it later. -NCO's are good to lean on early, but not exclusively. Retain the information and ALWAYS pass it through a sanity filter. Your commander probably will and you don't want to look like an idiot. -NEVER compromise your character/integrity for anything. There will be many opportunities early and often.
