and the knife show on like at 1am on Friday nights when I got home half drunk. It wasn't QVC but it was a similar cable channel (Shop at Home?). Seems like it was based in Knoxville TN. Always tempted to order (I mean hand-on-phone close) but never did.
Anybody remember that? It was this guy.....

What did you buy? A block style surge protector.
What did it cost? About $40 for 2.
Free paring knives thrown in? No, but paring knives were the next deal up and I almost bit on those too!

What color white tank top were you wearing? Top was my Eagle Fang Karate shirt from Hot Topic.

funny?" I have actually said those things about candle stores and bottle water. Just how do you pay a mall rent selling candles? And bottled water; next we'll have brands of compressed air at gas stations. And if we pass over Thorneblade on the way up I look for #10, because I saw a guy drive it once; its a long way even from up there.
We did get to a gate 2 hours early once. Then missed the flight. And I could have a yard sale just to get rid of white shirts, both golf and dress. And yes, given a choice I'll take a paper ticket; the phone has never died/quit/broke, but that day is coming.

I did a 12 minute segment on QVC and sold over 120k units in 30 minutes. You can see the numbers from where you sit and it just keeps on rolling. Complete insanity and it makes you realize how many people are in this world. If I remember right, I was on at 7:18 to 7:30. It was in West Chester, PA, which wasnt a really cool spot.

this was at least 8-9 years ago, so I forget. I definitely do not forget having beers there and then the guy who was with me drove us to the hotel in Philly, but not before he got blasted on shots in the car. I was scared to death he was going to kill us both. I made him stop and I drove.
