In a perfect Conf realign both geographically & competitiveness the following would happen

Wake to the American (they bring nothing ton the ACC anymore)

PSU WV Maryland Rutgers to ACC (just makes since geographically and for Market) 16 team ACC

Louisville ND Iowa St Kansas KSU to B10 (just makes since geographically) 16 team B10

Texas OU to SEC (makes since geographically and is going to happen) 16 team SEC

BYU TT OKST Baylor PAC (Baylor just beat out TCU for last spot due to BB NC, TCU to American) (just make since geographically and for Market) 16 team PAC

Wake Army UConn UMass TCU to American (best of the rest) 16 team American

8 team Play off with Conf champ of Power 4 conf auto bid and possibly American (because 12 is way too many)

As long as we're talking "perfect," here is my perfect conference:

FSU, Florida
Clemson, SC
UGA, GT
Bama, Auburn
MS ST, Ole Miss
TN, LSU

Truly a southeastern conference.

Unfortunately, three things ruin your perfect Conf. realignment ;
1) 12 teams will happen.
2)What does Maryland or Rutgers bring to the ACC that Wake doesn't?
3)If Notre Dame won't join the ACC, why would they consider the Big 10?
( Do you think they want to have to play OSU ,Michigan ,State and Wisconsin every year).
Also, even though it's going to happen ,how does OU and Texas fit in the SEC? Even T A&M belongs in the Big 12.

1. I know but doesn’t mean we need a 12 team PO

2. Market! Wake doesn’t bring any market. UNC NCST Duke brings North Carolina and Maryland brings BB. Wake no long has that and hasn’t for 29 years

3. Probably not but they are a better fit for B10, they have history of big hames with MI MIST Minn NW. What is their history with anyone from ACC other than Miami in the 1980s?

4. Texas last I checked bordered Louisianna and is a southern as SC GA AL MS. Have you ever been to the east side of Texas? I think they were on the south’s side in the war of northern aggression
