LVille showed me nothing. Va Tech was an embarrassing beat down. UNC…..Pretty sure Sam Howell’s draft stock dropped even more and Mack Brown needs to retire.
I give PITT a pass because their star QB opted out. Let’s hope Wake shows up today and blows out RU.

wins, not concerned about the rest of the conference. The other teams have never stepped up during their bowl games, so I wouldn’t expect them to now.

Being a conference fan is what they do at USuC. They stink every year but hang their hat on the SEC peg on the wall and blame their woes on playing ranked conference opponents each week. What good is it to be a bottom feeder in a conference in which you contribute no success?
For Clemson, we just drown out the noise and go be the best version of Clemson. When you control what you can and quit focusing on others, the rest falls into place. Something USuC hasn’t figured out in over a century.

You clearly don't understand finances. We share with all the other ACC schools and a strong conference is in our best interest. As much as we dislike Notre Dame, we don't have the history and long time rival games they do and we could not survive as an independent. Our ties to the ACC are deep rooted and it would be almost impossible for us to leave but never say never.

Again, Clemson can’t control how the other teams perform. Clemson can only control Clemson. As for finances, the bowl teams get paid regardless of whether they win or lose, so the revenue pot sharing is still there.

Again, Clemson can’t control how the other teams perform. Clemson can only control Clemson. As for finances, the bowl teams get paid regardless of whether they win or lose, so the revenue pot sharing is still there.

Some of you just don’t get it. National media is laughing at the Acc’s 1-14 bowl record. Their is a reason that the TV contract is so bad. No one pays top dollar to televise crappy football teams. Clemson is going to be left behind in the arms race sooner rather than later and every loss by acc teams doesn’t help.

Missouri showed me nothing. Mississippi St. and Florida were embarrassing beat downs. Auburn…..Pretty sure TJ Finley’s draft stock dropped even more and Bryan Harsin needs to resign.
I give TENN a pass because they played a decent game even if their coach made stupid decisions at the end.
Let’s hope Bama and UGA show up today don't wet the bed.

It will suit me just fine if neither uga nor AL win their games today, nor any other day. Neither of them set the world on fire this year. We certainly were sub-par, and that's what I care more about improving. Here's to hoping we get some great new results from our recent coaching changes.

better when he agreed to bring them into the conference.
Virginia Tech, Miami, and Boston College have declined in football since joining the ACC. Likewise, Syracuse and Pitt have declined in basketball since joining.
Notre Dame basketball has been down the last couple of years.
Louisville has been okay, but not what was expected overall.
I don’t think we can blame Swofford for these declines.
If VT, Miami, and BC were as strong as expected in football, and FSU remained good, we would be talking about a very good football conference, especially given Clemson’s rise.

Bowls are irrelevant in most cases because both coaches and players leave before the game and you never know what you will get. NFL GM's and scouts are professionals and Sam Howell will certainly be drafted but is not a running threat and that is today's game.

You folks do know that the acc has 1 win and 4 losses and the mighty sec is 1 win and five losses. Gamecocks so far have the only sec win . Conference will probably give them a trophy
