Maybe Wake could play a team assembled out of the transfer portal. I've heard there are like 2,000 players in which to assemble an 85 member team.

Both conferences had a rule this year that a cancellation for covid is equal to a forfeit.
IMO, aTm forfeits…Wake wins by forfeit.

This is the nuclear version of a "Jimbo" time out where TAM (previously FSU) needs to stop the clock late in the game but they have no time outs left, or the other team has momentum and is moving quickly down the field, and one of Jimbo's guys lies on the field with an "injury" to stop the clock and slow things down. There should be a photo somewhere of the entire TAM team lying on the field faking great pain.

That’s what they are doing for the playoffs and NCG. If a team can’t play they forfeit. Why would a bowl be any different?
