I'd say that's pretty disgraceful.

I was joking about not catching it on the fly, although, come on. But, the scramble to take it from that little girl is just mind-boggling to me.

The dude's picking up the ball after he dropped it and the girl comes diving in out of nowhere. No fighting for the ball at all. You can find something better to whine about, can't you?

Based on the available evidence I kind of have to agree with the OP. I can forgive dropping the fly ball but looks he snatched it from a little girl while it was on the ground. Maybe he gave it to her after the camera moved off the scene...that would have been redemption...but we don't know that.

Actually the guy was the little girls dad. And the good part of the story is that McKenzie's dad was out there. He is going to get the ball signed by McKenzie and give it back to the girl today. So not everything you see on TV is actually how things are.
