Clayton came in and limited bases loaded, no outs. Only gave up 1, made it 5-4. Grice comes up and homers to level it. That’s just perfect timely execution happening. Regardless of if we win this or not.

Clayton really impresses me. I don’t know where his velocity is, but the combination of the sinker and the slider with how much they break showed in those pressure at bats.

5-5 though in top 6th.

That’s the old Clemson baseball I remember. The energy, the small ball, and the swag we’re developing. This team is confident and has an identity. I’ve been a big advocate that this team has Omaha potential. Don’t want to confirm anything that hasn’t happened yet, still forever to go.

Good chance baseball comes back on b4 softball. Was a little surprised they didn't postpone until 7pm but I guess they wanted to get in as many innings b4 a delay.
