If no games played this year, will college football recover?

What do you see as the short & long term impact of an entire football season being cancelled?

How long before the sport recovers? Ever?

This is some seriously scary stuff for fans, players, coaches and schools.

The financial damage will be hard for a lot of collegiate sports programs to recover from . Football pays the bills for a lot of other sports .

And for that exact reason.....

College football will recover. There will likely be programs that fail or take longer than others to recover but on a whole, college football is too large to fail. Look at UA-B as an example; they closed the football program to only later realize how critical it is to the overall athletic program so they brought it back.

As you said, it pays for most all other sports at most all schools. Once guidelines are developed, I expect football to return as quickly as reasonably possible.

Yes. College football will return strong. Feel for guys who could go pro 2020 and returned. Just saw 1000 new cases GA on Saturday.
