It is Football!! People get hurt nearly every game.
If your on a team and capable of playing you should play!!! The game is actually fun!
Go play!
But if all the players want to sit out then fans will stop watching and nobody will have an opportunity to play for a college or pro ball.
Fans pay the bills on all levels .
When the money goes away it will just be backyard pick up and people will still get hurt.
