An interesting SEC/ACC analogy re Clemson

Clemson plays both teams which are the overwhelming picks to win the SEC East.
If Clemson beats both UGA and SC it would be rational to assume that if Clemson were in the SEC East, Clemson would likely win the Division and play for the SEC championship. In fact, if Clemson splits with those teams but beats the one that wins the SEC East, the same rational claim could be made.
Your first game will go a long way in shaping, but not necessarily defining, your year.

Thanks noletime for the respectful post.
Just watched your national championship game vs. Auburn. Of course the Auburn fans were chanting "SEC, SEC" IN THE FIRST HALF!! Good gracious, it is ridiculous. So glad somebody knocked the SEC off that perch.

They do play OK state, Notre Dame, Clemson, Florida, Miami.
I'm not saying that it is as tough as us playing UGA, SC, FSU, UNC, but that's not cupcake.
We both play Louisville which both should beat.

FSU plays Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Florida, Miami, Louisville and Clemson.
Far from a cupcake schedule even by the most liberal of interpretations.

Umm last year with a loss to usuc and a win over ugay would have made us sec east champs. We would stop Missouri, Tennessee, etc.
