An injured Stoudt wins the MVP trophy....

Oct 20, 2014, 2:16 PM

....amazing job! Half of you would have quit, he didn't. He's our starting QB so let's rally behind him and the team and hope he gets another MVP this weekend.

The D should get the MVP as a whole.

I agree that Stoudt played a gutsy game... but it was far from an MVP performance. He could have had at least 2 interceptions thrown that would have cost us the game along with a few throws to Mike Williams in single coverage that he should have made.

The fact that someone on our defense didn't win the MVP tells me it was rigged from the beginning. The most vaulable people on the field for us were definitely on the defensive side of the ball.

Are you not going to mention Hopper's drop & Williams' drop

Oct 20, 2014, 6:01 PM

of a probable TD? He has had more drops this year than I can remember a QB having.
He is not perfect by a long shot, but had all the drops been caught things might be different.

The fact that we only scored 17 points vs BC means NO one on offences should have got MVP and I dont blame cole entirely are O-line is way to thin.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

i agree with that..........and if anybody on offense gets it

Oct 20, 2014, 2:37 PM

probably should've been mike williams..........which i believe he did internally given by the coaches/coach after the game on the offensive side of the ball.

just glad cole didn't screw up enough for us to lose.......and i'll definitely credit him for his best throw of his career........the 3rd and 11 to mike williams under pressure.........also made some glaring mistakes/misses, but we won BECAUSE of our defense for sure.

The Boston Gridiron Club chooses the winner ...

Oct 20, 2014, 2:48 PM [ in reply to Jarrett was the real MVP ]

... why would they "rig" the outcome??

The O'Rourke–McFadden Trophy was created in 2008 by the Boston College Gridiron Club in order to honor the tradition at Clemson and Boston College to honor the legacy of Charlie O'Rourke and Banks McFadden, who played during the leather helmet era ... the Boston College Gridiron Club presents a replica leather helmet to the MVP of the winning school.

The hate some of you have for Stoudt is unbelievably stupid! He's all we've got until Watson gets back....why do you keep posting such things, he's doing his best and that's all we can ask!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Nobody hates him, they're just pointing out the fact...

Oct 20, 2014, 6:42 PM

that he isn't a starter at this level of college football. Everybody has been giving Stoudt credit for being a class act and a good teammate.

Right-on! It's not like there is a debate that The Chad

should put in another QB. CS IS THE MAN for now. Why anyone would shoot the guy down especially when he's playing with a painful shoulder injury is beyond me.

AS Walt so Astutely pointed out CS was saved from 2

Happy for Cole! A lot of players in his position would pout and whine about losing his starting job, but cole has handled the situation with nothing but class.
