I'm hearing Clemson wants to schedule 2 or even 3 SEC

teams in most years, in addition to ND once every three years. UGA is also interested in playing Clemson as often as possible.
This is GREAT news!!!! This will give us an SEC type schedule without having any of those games count against a conference Championship. It's the best of both worlds.
I've also heard rumors ND could join in all sports including football in a few years. With this scheduling arrangement, I hope they don't. Right now we will play ND twice as often as we play most teams in the Coastal.

Only if LSUs team would come without their fans

I've seen them 5 times (Once at UGA and SCar and 3 times at the GaDome). Some of the absolute worst fans in the country. They fight each other for not cheering obnoxiously enough.
Troy Landry would be a sophisticated LSU fan.

I have lived near ND. Gotten to know their people and mentality. I'd be shocked if they ever give up their independence in football

I was actually just going to say that...obviously I'd rather we push for Texas, but A&M was a great home & home a few years ago and it could help us with recruiting.
For recruiting purposes, we should want to schedule either a Texas school or U of Florida. I know we already play the Noles, but the more exposure in Florida the better.
If we were able to schedule something like this, we'd be looking at the greatest (and possibly most difficult) schedule ever.
Carolina, Georgia, Florida/Texas/Texas A&M, Florida State. Let's do it.

Don't know where you get your info from, but SEC teams do NOT want to play Clemson. UGA dropped the series b/c they think the sec is to tough w/o Clemson. Same could be said for the others. I am sure we can get some of them every couple of years but every year, forget about it. We are lucky to have played Auburn 3 in a row and uga two more times.

Now that we are back to 8 game ACC.
Both Clemson and UGA benefit.

While that would be exciting for you guys, BB, you better be careful of what you wish for. Carolina is about to go through a 4 game stretch playing UGA, LSU, Florida and Tennessee. Exciting atmospheres for sure, that can't be matched. Playing football-first schools, both at home and on the road, where large stadiums rule puts a real pep into the step. But, it's brutal. Georghia, LSU and Florida have each brought in 3 Top 10 classes over the past 5 years. Tennessee has brought in 2 Top 10 classes over the past 5 years. Exciting to be around. But, man do you pay a price in the won-loss columns, which, I'm afraid, Carolina is about to experience.

True...hopefully if Clemson were to set up something like that we'd be able to spread it around. Georgia being the first or second game, whoever else #4, Florida State around 7, and then Carolina obviously the last game of the season.
It's going to be really tough for Carolina the next few weeks. If they win 2/4 I'd say that's really good, 3/4 would be incredible and 4/4 should have them ranked #2 or 3 in the nation. Maybe even #1.

I think bringing back the Clemson Georgia game would be great. You guys had a great rivalry going at one time. Playing 3 teams a year would definetly strengthen your schedule as long as you don't play a Ole Miss or Kentucky since there no better than ACC teams.
Notre Dame will not give up there big NBC contract to become a part of any conference.

I am excited about playing them, but we could get them in the ACCCG on a fairly regular basis if we take care of business.

Try to schedule Vandy and Ole Miss along with UGA.
If it's up to me I say play UGA EVERY year, and rotate home and homes with Auburn and Tennessee.
