just a few thoughts and questions..

THIS IS LONG
-haven't been on here in quite some time but I'm back. I was in attendance Saturday night and that night definitely goes down in my top 3 or 4 games. I'm only 19 so I haven't been around as long as some of you. Question, if you had to choose the top 3 Clemson games that you've been to, what would they be? (National Championship isn't an option) Not just based on outcome but atmosphere and all the other variables that go into making Saturdays so special.
-overall, I was pleased with the win obviously but I was really pleased with how our front seven played minus a couple plays. our DLine is going to be dominant this year! I really feel good about our rush defense going forward.
-Our passing defense still tends to confuse me. its 3rd and short and our DBs & LBs are giving the receivers a 10 yard cushion. I am no football coach but I just don't understand whats going on there.
-I really hope Bryant puts this game behind him and plays to his capabilities. He is a huge weapon for us and I think hes going to have an awesome season being Sammy's counterpart.
-What a great feeling it is right now to be a Clemson Tiger. I've lived through just a few subpar seasons but they've all been worth it. We are getting the most love and coverage that I've ever seen and I'm actually really confident that it won't get to our guy's heads. There is a real special feeling here this Fall and there is no other place I'd rather be. Camping out for those tickets, getting no sleep practically all weekend, I don't regret a thing. We as Tiger fans are blessed with what we have right now going on with this program.
-Also, one last thing. Friday afternoon I overheard a man downtown talking about how his kids wanted to come to Clemson for a game with him. he laughed and told his buddy that this was the only times he had with himself and his friends and that he basically didn't want to bring them. I was blown away. I hope most of us aren't like this man. My first game was in 1993 at the peach bowl against Kentucky, I was in my mother's stomach. If i remember correctly, we won that game 14-13? lol either way my father started bringing me up here as soon as it was physically possible and I have rarely missed a home game in 19 years with a few away game trips here and there. I am so thankful for my dad and the Shealy clan. I've seen a lot of Clemson football over 19 years and there is no other place I'd rather be on a Saturday than in Clemson, SC. (not even the deerstand during the rut) there is something in these hills that sticks with you and 19 years later I'm back up here for college. Don't turn anyone away that wants to come experience Clemson. thanks to my Dad and the rest of my Shealy family thats always welcomed me to tag along.

Clemson is great with students like you, and there's nothing

more than this older Tiger likes to see than our younger crowd getting fired-up for Clemson.

The camping for tickets had to be an experience, and kudos to those of you who did. Lastly, since you "remember" that Peach Bowl game, while in your "Mother's stomach," I have no doubt that you'll be a top honors student at CU. Best of luck....

Amen! And for the record, my top three home games (that I've

physically attended) are:

1) FSU 2003 (CU 26-10)
2) GT 2006 (CU 31-10)
3) UGA 2013 (CU 38-35)

Honorable Mention:
1) Miami 2005 (UM 36-30 in 3OT; loudest most intense game I've ever witnessed anywhere)
2) UGA 1990 (CU 34-3)
3) FSU 2007 (CU 24-18)

p.s. I was also at that 1993 Peach Bowl win over Kentucky. Sloppy game, but thrilling finish. Great (in utero) introduction to Tiger football!
