Maybe this is the wrong forum for this post, but I wouldn’t dare post this on Facebook or Twitter for fear of censorship. I consider myself a normal person. I’m a Christian father of 3 daughters. So the Feds have Jeffrey Epstien’s list of rich pedophiles. The Feds have all the Epstein flight manifests. Epstein is now dead by “suicide”. Maxwell convicted and now on “suicide watch”, probably not long for this world. Are we just going to let sweep all this under the rug? Am I the only one who cares? Is pedophilia now just something else our society accepts as normal behavior? Is there one honest person left at the FBI or media? Seems like this list should be the story of the century. But no one seems to care.

We leave in a country where the powerful and rich don’t live by the same rules as the rest of us. Although I have no idea what prosecutable evidence actually exists, the Epstien case is likely a case of this. If there were pictures of you and me flying on the Lolita Express, you can be assured we’d somehow be prosecuted, but when it is a rich powerful person, the authorities make it seem like there would need to be pictures of them in the act to get a conviction.
I could name another egregious example of a powerful person and their cronies getting away with obviously criminal behavior, but this is a football board, so I will keep to myself.

Rich still pretty much rule the world, regardless of what the rest of us might like to think. With this much forewarning, I suspect any case that would be brought against one of those "Fat Cats", would just be tied up in the courts for literally a decade or longer.
And then, if it looked like it wasn't going to go their way, they would just flee the country and settle in luxury somewhere that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the United States.
I firmly believe that Maxwell hung around because she was so arrogant, she literally did not believe anyone would ever convict HER of a crime. She had been used to getting her way for decades.

They've told us along the way that it's just about equal treatment for lesbians and gays, for bi's, but that turned into propaganda and enforced usage of the redefined terms, concocted "pronouns," forced sensitivity training, forced bankruptcy for not baking the cake, etc. etc. etc. It's never been about equal treatment, and it won't stop. Pedophilia and polyamory (sanctioned by the state, that is) are the next frontiers of the "plus."

The idea is not that pedophilia and polyamory are "related," but rather, that they are both barriers that the secular left wants to, and eventually will, if not opposed, seek to cross. If there are no boundaries for the "normal" sexual norms that we no longer have (male/female distinction, ####, trans, promiscuity, etc.), if those are as malleable and subjective as we've made them, then there's no legitimate philosophical or moral reason other boundaries can't be crossed. We have a major uncoupling from reality plaguing our species right now, and it’s only getting worse. I mean for the love of god you have half the country talking about how there are 45 genders and the other half convinced vaccines are trying to kill them. Of people who are not proven to be guilty of any crime. If there's enough evidence to press charges against one of the people on this "list", then they will pursue it, and we'll know about it when it happens.
Otherwise, it's just a list to tarnish people's names without due process of law.

I'll argue this point.
I think there's very much a point at which powerful people absolutely can pull strings. We saw it with Tucker Hipps at Clemson, where - I'll put this carefully - a very powerful politician appears to have directly reached into the investigation process and suppressed it, and everyone who might have come forwards did not. We saw it with Alex Murdaugh...the level of his corruption was absolutely shocking and seems to have no bottom - my wife listens to podcasts about that all the time around the house, and comes out angrier every time - and he was just an attorney whose dad was a judge. I mean, the final sentence sort of speaks for itself: "He could face more than 500 years in prison if convicted of all the charges, which are all felonies."
Uh...wut? Did they just say 500 years? They'll be releasing his bones somewhere around 2522, if that happens.

I would definitely not say that it's impossible for powerful people to "pull strings," as you put it. That's beside the point I was making.
People want a "list"...to do what with, exactly? A "list," if it exists, that was generated by a person who is a convicted criminal, who could write any name on any list they wanted.
What evidence is there that any politician is doing something sinister here? What evidence is there that any politician would be on any "list"?
Isn't law enforcement not releasing some "list" a good thing? Why would we expect them to? If your name were somehow on the list, for no reason, wouldn't you appreciate it if it weren't made public, just to satisfy the bloodthirst of the masses?

doesn't matter what us plebs think to the power players in DC who have access to the Epstein "list" of clients. That list is what is known as "leverage" in the world of power and trust me - the folks that have it (FBI/DOJ) well know how to use it J. Edgar Hoover style. Unfortunately - we will probably never know who any of these pedophiles are unless they run afoul of the power brokers in DC.
