who is not worked up about losing Todd Bates?

I say get rid of Lemanski Hall too and upgrade the whole D front staff.

And before anyone points out DL production, I will offer my opinion: that has more to do with talent than coaching.

Neither Bates nor Hall come close to what we had with Brooks and Hobby.

Those guys were dealing with uber talented players too...but watch some film carefully and you will notice differences in technique and discipline under the two different staffs.

Bates was a good coach. However, I can't get over not signing a single DL recruit for the 2022 class. That's just sad.
