days"...Danny's last four seasons. No national title, but those were 4 dang good years. I never dreamed we would see a run of success like we have enjoyed the last four (actually, 8) years. Glad I was wrong!

I was telling a friend today how the 78 Gator Bowl win over Ohio State felt like the Super Bowl and it doesn't seem any smaller or less significant now .Those games back then were huge.One thing builds on another.If the Tigers didn't win big games back then would things have turned out the same? After that 78 Gator Bowl win I can remember asking my brother , who is several years older, if Clemson would win a national title and I think the feeling at the time was that if Clemson could go 11 and 1 and end up number 6 in the country they could win it all!You know the rest ! lol
