Always Sorry When Losing Great Players - But

Dec 3, 2018, 1:37 PM

Clemson is now at or very close to the ultra-elite programs which simply "reload."

I'd love to keep the Deshauns, Renfrows, Wilkins, Ferrells et al. 8 or 10 years each would be great, but since we can't, the next best thing is to reach a point, like Bama, which can just RELOAD. Clemson is there.

I'm not worried that we always lose players who must move on. Louisville might be concerned. Clemson, Bama - we just keep unloading a busfull of top talent each new season.

We can thank Dabo's culture & consistency for that luxury.

You are right...at every position except OL. Dabo better get on the trail and get us many more bodies (& as good or better talent) at these positions or 2020 and beyond will be fraught with wailing & gnashing of teeth...not to mention stains on our QB's uniform.
