Alright .... Injury Question for Saturday's game

One of you posted a clip of Tiger Talk.
Mentioned Van Smith possibly being out.
So from last year's D, you lost Tankersly and Johnson in the secondary. If Van Smith is out, you'll only have 1 returning starter? Or was there another one that has gone too?
I know #10 is gone at LB ... he was good.
I know Watkins is gone, but I expect your 1st team DL to be incredible. Some of you have voiced concern over depth.
We know about the offensive departures.
As for Auburn:
2nd String Kerryon Johnson is SURELY out, although nothing official. It's a problem because Kam Martin (rushed for 136 after KJ got hurt) is the fastest guy on the team, but he's prone to fumble (at least once/game)
Departures? Lawson and Adams gone on the DL .... No LBs left, One CB left ... return 8/9 starters
Offensively we lost 2 OL ... Although we feel like their replacements are better. We gained 2 Grad Transfers that are backups currently. We feel like we have 3 back ups that could be starters else where.
QB upgrade, now have depth for the first time in a while.
WR Talented, Young, Only 1 WR graduated. Tony Stevens (who tip toed across the middle)

T. Mullen is the best cover corner on the team and he didn't start last year, Tre Lamar was the 5* #1 MLB recruit who will be starting now. You have to understand, we just reloaded, not rebuilding or sticking some random guy in their we hope can play. This D will probably be better than last year. Guys like Wilkins, Dex, O'Daniel, Joseph, and Cle are all gonna do their thing. We're loaded period

I know you're talented. I simply asked about returning starters/experience.
You've seen the post with the recruiting break down. Although AU edges out Clemson in nearly every unit, it's not by much.
That's why I'm asking about experience.

How did the Auburn coaching staff manage to take two top 10 players in the country (Adams and Lawson) and coach them up to a 4th round pick? And they were so good with the heir apparent, Jeremy Johnson, that he's now playing basketball.
We could care less about your 5*'s. It's your coaches you need to worry about.

I think that was the point ....you took a 1st round draft choice and turned him into a 4th rounder. Now he is back to where he should have been, if not for the relapse in coaching.

Van Smith will probably play. If not K'Von Wallace played good last year as a true freshman. Besides, whoever is back there doesn't have to be a world beater because our front 7, well front 4 is gonna get pressure more plays than not.
Sure Boulware is gone but I'm of the opinion that we replaced his position with more talent. I believe talent wise or LBs are better this year. I also believe our DL is better this year. Maybe we are a little thin at DE but at DT we are just as deep as last year.
Oh and I'm sure you are familiar, but your Defensive coordinator gave up 70 to WVU when he was at Clemson. You may have good even great talent on defense but I've gotta feeling Tony Elliot and Jeff Scott are gonna be at least 1 step ahead of Ole Kevin.

That's great that he gave up 70 points in a BOWL GAME (not named the NC) WHo cares?
Bowl games are usually weird anyway ... lots going on .... focus is questionable due to all
the stuff players get to do.
He had a Top 10 D last year.

Trayvon Mullen probably has more straight up talent than Tankersly but is young. He'll be even better than Tank by the time he leaves here. Van Smith moved to FS after Johnson left and Muse is a more pure SS/in the box-type safety so I really don't see what you're getting at to be honest.
Ben Boulware was the heart and soul of the defense but was a liability in pass coverage and honestly, he was not a great athlete. The trio of Tre Lamar, Kendall Joseph, and Dorian O'Daniel is already lightyears more athletic just by swapping Boulware and Lamar.

Because I think you mean well and hope you have a good time in Clemson. I had a good time in Auburn last year.
However, this is exactly why people have started trolling you and not answering straight. You are negative about Clemson and positive about Auburn. If you want to have a discussion, try being neutral.
As far as a response... if Van is out, then we replace him with K'von Wallace who played in every game last year as a freshman. Kid is a stud and a playmaker.
We lost 6' 225lb Ben Boulware and replaced him with 6'4" 250lb Tre Lamar. Try telling him he is a downgrade.
Mullen was a high 4*/5* that is an absolute stud. 6'2" and runs a 4.3 40.
Muse (replaced Johnson) is bigger, faster and meaner than Johnson. He is a faster version of Ben Boulware. His backup is 6'4"+ and runs a 4.4 or faster.
I'm not going to say anything about the DL. Best in the country, bar none.

This troll is getting worse and worse. Saturday night, Sunday morning we will be picking apart all his false analysis. We bring back an OL that protected and opened holes against a FAR superior defense in the Bama game. Bryant might have over 100 rushing in the first half. 26-17, Clemson wins.
