Graduates tomorrow with honors nursing in one of the best programs in the southeast. Had his pinning ceremony tonight. Already has a job lined up.
My dad raised me, my mom was in and out of my life. My dad got a tech degree and worked for Southern Bell thirty three years. My dad thought Archie Bunker was a wimp. Anyway, he paid every tuition check that came in from Clemson for more than four years. I graduated and that was the happiest I had ever seen him, until my son was born.
We are celebrating all weekend for my son, and my dad. If you can raise a toast this weekend, thank you, and G-d bless. If you can, call your dad and tell him how awesome he is.

enjoy every minute of it. We're all aware what all it took to get him from cradle to this point. It's a helluva lot of rewarding work and you've all earned the celebration.
