You can only play with fast tempo if you make first downs.

We used to have a lot of of pre-snap motion which I don’t know why we got away from. All of the offenses that put up points yesterday had some of that

Was get lined up really quickly , which makes the D get lined up. Then they have the QB get the call from the sideline. Sometimes having so much time on the play clock they could check twice. We did this at one time. I think this could help DJ.

I want to ask Why is our OC getting all the blame when it's obvious that the head coach is in agreement? Kentucky's OC is an NFL guy I think we need a pro style offense because this one has been KO

I've wondered about the pre-snap motion as well. It shouldn't confuse DJ because you set it up to give you tells to what the defense is doing by how they react. It should help him.

Texas seemed to go away from it yesterday during the game. A lot of pre-snap motion the first half and they were walking on Oklahoma. Very little in the second half and they couldn't get a first down.

If we played fast tempo right now it would take off 25 seconds of game clock between 1st down and punting. Our defense wouldn't be able to keep up.

I'm saying get to line quickly to make the defense get in position. Then we don't have to snap until we want to.
