All my dear Tigernetters, please keep my brother Donnie Brown in your regards thoughts and prayers!

Jul 25, 2016, 1:24 AM

My brother, life-long Clemson Tiger alum, Legacy, and fan (just as myself) had a swimming pool diving accident 2 weeks ago and has been in ICU ever since and paralysed from the shoulders down.......we have been devastated.....
BUT, there is hope for him, as he's shown some miraculous improvement in this short time, and rather unexpectedly! ?????

With all the wonderful support, hopes, wishes, and prayers....we pray that his speedy recovery and improvement continues, so that we can have him back enjoying life soon to the fullest, so he can welcome his baby girl on-the-way (21 weeks pregnant wife Janna), and get back to being his cornerstone community friend and husband - that he is for all who know him and love him, and for our family ....not to mention so that he doesn't have to miss football season entirely!

We are so very lucky to have such great support and an overwhelming friends & support group in effect already...and we are so humbled and thankful, that through this tragedy (and those like it), we are brought together even closer, and our faiths tested and redeemed.

We are even more thankful to have him Transferring from Columbia Palmetto Health Center to the Shepherds Center Spinal Institute in Atlanta on this coming Tuesday for the beginning of his serious and probably long rehabilitation process.
His doctors are positive, and we have hope & faith my brother will walk again and be all that he can be and who his family and friends need.

Donnie is a CU Forestry Alum from '93 & '96 (Master in wetlands forestry),
Son of Donald A. Brown - CU Forestry '65,
Son of Lana Brown & Don Brown of Newberry SC,
Brother of Jacob Brown - Forestry '99,
and husband of Janna Odell Brown.

Please feel free to contact me per email (jbthe1tiger@yahoo.com) or t-mail me with any concerns or questions, or requests.

If anyone would like to help with any prayers, comments, or financial assistance to help them (& our family) through these trying times and tribulations, you have our fullest gratitude....this will be a tough, lengthy, expensive process at best, therefore we started a "gofundme" page to help absorb some of the cost and worry for him and his expecting wife (Dec.).
He can be found under "team DABrown" or Donald (Donnie) Brown on the gofundme page/site.

Thank you all in advance for your thoughts and prayers!!!!

As always, Go Tigers!!!
Your gracious & humble friend & Tiger,
Jacob H. Brown '99

As our Father is perfect. That this trial will bring him out stronger than ever for our Lord. That he, his family and friends will be bound in a common goal of striving to help him in every way they can and may they all be blessed with strong faith, perseverance and be comforted by Our Father with uncommon strength and love in Jesus name, Amen

I'm trusting he will be standing for the National championship win this year! Go Donnie and Go Tigers!

My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

Prayers on the way. Hope for a full & speedy recovery.***

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?
