I know it's a big deal to get recruits to this event. Does anyone know what specifically goes on beyond a cookout? Is there live music or previous players? Just curious as to why it's considered a big deal to get recruits here for this event.

Last year didn't we hear that a couple of players competed in some kind of contest like pie eating maybe? Or was it a coach against a player? Something for a lot of laughter.

They have all kinds of activities for the recruits and current players come and talk to the recruits as well I think. It also gives a great opportunity for recruits and their families to get a feel for clemson amd the family environment. Another big thing is the big recruits and their family get good one on one time with coaches and their recruiters. Great place for coaches and staff to make their pitches to recruits! And it's an all around great time.

There have been rumors of a mean tater salad being so good that recruits wanna slap their momma. They don't, of course, cos Dabo doesn't recruit those type of players. Instead, the recruits commit due to the delish pot luck tasties that TNetters bring. Forgive my memory, but I can't recall who is bringing what dish. Consider this the sign up roster. I'll start. I'm bringing my momma's mean tater salad. What say you?
