He's a SCAR commit that I assume we'd love to have, but I wonder why Rivals says he's 5-star and #15 overall player nationally, while ESPN says he's only the #191 player overall and sees him as a low 4-star?
Normally there is some discrepancy between the various services, but that's about as wide a variation of opinion as I can recall seeing on a high profile guy.

Main thing is his competition is weak. He's the biggest guy on the field every time they play. People have been saying he's overrated for a long time. No better than 4 stars.

That's why u say he's overrated. The fact is you've never seen him play. Typical....can those tackles score more than 17 points? Haven't done it since '08. Can't wait til November.

I haven't looked at a lot of Blackshear's tape, and I'm sure he's a solid player regardless of stars. I'm sure Clemson would love to have him as we have a great record developing DEs.
But to attempt to insult Watson...that's just dumb. Poking fun of a QB of that caliber? You remember AU in that SEC game yall attended ages ago? That's probably what you have to look forward to.

Also you do realize Cam Newton and Deshaun Watson both played in the state of Georgia and Deshaun Watson holds ALL the records in that state?
Rivals listed both as 5* as well, except Deshaun Watson was considered the #1 overall QB while Cam was #2?

as an insult as Boyd's record against USuCk isn't great. I'm guessing that's what the, "can't wait" remark was for.
Anyway, it is all speculation as to how good he'll be. But if were judging strictly from an offer list, which is what you seem to be doing, then yes...Watson has the chance to be the greatest QB in Clemson history. I'd say his list is much more impressive than Blackshear's if we're playing that game.
