Opposing OC’s gotta be losing sleep trying to game plan his defense. He is worth every dollar CU pays him and probably more in my opinion. Best hire HC Dabo has made and he has made some very good hires. Shout out to Batson too as our guys never seem to stop,slow or take plays off.

All hail nepotism. If Bob Stoops had not hired his brother to be DC, we probably would have never gotten Venables to come to Clemson. I am in awe of Venables. I've always felt like having a great defense is even more exciting that a great offense. I love watching those guys play.

I remember when I first heard that BV was coming to Clemson. My first thought was that it was BS. Some kind of joke or one of those internet hoaxes that are always floating around. Never in a million years did I think he would ever leave Oklahoma. He’d been there for what seemed like an eternity and I don’t recall ever hearing any mention of him as a candidate for any kind of vacant coaching position. When I found out that Coach Swinney had hired him to lead the defense I couldn’t believe it. I knew that if he got the players he needed to run his defense that they would be extremely tough to beat. The amazing success of our beloved Tigers is a direct reflection of Dabo’s incredible ability of bringing in coaches and players that fit the Clemson mold as well as being able to maintain stability among his staff. There has been very little turnover with his staff and that is CRUCIAL in competing for championships year in and year out. These are amazing times for Clemson fans.

The consistency of the Defense has been outstanding - plus it seems the D-Line really stepped it up against Syracuse. Logan Rudolph especially looked great.


As if they needed "motivation", BV and crew sure seem out to prove that the 2019 Defense can be just as dominating as they were with the Power rangers
