a National Champion program in the Oklahoma Sooners,got to learn how to beat these teams in the postseason.Eventually it will happen but might have to wait until these programs come to Clemson and McWhorther Stadium for it to happen.

Yep that's the key right there playing against these kind of programs,got to play perfectly and flawlessly with very very limited mistakes and miscues especially on their home field.

I get your argument when it comes to Ok state and Bama but Oklahoma is a whole other beast. One thing I will say is we should have taken care of business against FSU and VT. Then we wouldn’t be here.

We are a big fish in a small pond. Those teams are Big Fish in the Biggest ponds. We need more hitters AND more dominant pitching to compete with those programs, simple as that.

72mph sinkers, even well placed, didn’t phase most of that lineup . . . the First 5 Hitters in the lineup hit above .400 . . . they didn’t even “set up” in the back of the batter’s box!!! The remaining hitters ALL hit around .340
Yes, you need the Speed . . . but you must change speeds often and erratically . . . especially when unexpected
We missed several scoring opportunities, oftentimes we looked like we had “Monte Lee Syndrome” . . . i.e. “swinging for the fences” . . . we must get back to (line drive) hitting to ALL FIELDS.
We gave them the first 2 runs . . . but those didn’t lose the game . . . they set the tone and they set the early momentum.

Not sure what you mean by learning to beat OU. If we had come out she’ll shocked (not ready for the moment) then I could see your point but that was not the case. We played hard but got beat by a better team. Granted we did not play a perfect game but did not play poorly either. We have a very good team but are not yet on their level. We will learn from this experience and continue to grow the program through recruiting.
