Spread the field and go fast. Wearing out those bigs boys upfront for Georgia. I remember when we used to do that.

96th in the country right now. Trevor, ETN and Deshaun cover up a ton of our flaws on offense. Take those players out, TE is in over his head! Alabama on the other hand gets it done with “serviceable players”.

There are several teams that have had equal or better talent

than us but haven't accomplished nearly as much.
Again, you don't just trot players out on the field and make 6 playoffs in a row, 4 national championship games, win 2 national titles, and have more wins and playoff wins than anyone other than Alabama. We are the 2nd best program in the CFP era... that doesn't happen without coaches knowing what they're doing.
By the way, Alabama has more talent and depth than anyone. Alabama isn't where they are due "serviceable players".

Amazing. I’m glad people are seeing and saying this. But people like me that have been bitching about it this all year have been called a USC fan by the Tigernet cultists. Now Ladson will go somewhere and be a stud. But you can’t argue with what Tony Elliot has accomplished! Right!?

Players on defense got better through the year (even through tons of injuries, players on offense (besides RBs) not so much. Give Venables credit! He mixes things up and gets creative when the odds are stacked.

That’s a dumb #### reply. Alabama does a much better job getting receivers wide open than Clemson does. You’d have to blind to say otherwise. A big part of it is they recruit WR’s better

Has Alabama been faced with attrition on this level? what about the previous 6 years, where we've been one of the best passing teams in the nation? You can't take 1 year and attempt to override 6 years.
The word is "anomaly". The reasons we haven't been as potent on offense has nothing to do with design.

So our offense was in the top 75 nationally before those guys got hurt?

Yep, and now we're losing him... Or at least TCI article thinks so. Sounds like he's ready and why wouldn't Duke or UVA offer him.

Yes, and perhaps they will show Coach Elliot how he can personally come down from the booth, suit up, and play offensive line as good as five men all by himself. Because it was TOTALLY Coach Elliot’s fault that Georgia had seven sacks and who knows how many QB. hurries. I think the real lesson that is being learned in this game is two fold: it’s amazing what a QB can do when he has time to throw the ball and what can happen when the QB’s receiver can actually catch the ball too.

Yes, because coaching always imparts athletic ability onto the players.

True but Clemson would be undefeated calling the same plays they did all year long if Young was our QB.
Bryce Young and Venables D would have been unstoppable.
