the most ignorant, disrespectful thing they could spout off about. Please Alabama, keep doing that. It'll just add more fuel to the fire for our boys.
BUT more than that, it completely reeks of FEAR. They know they aren't disrespected, so why even go down that road? Its because this Tiger team scares them and they are trying to manufacture more motivation to get over the hump. I hope our boys don't beat around the bush. Tell them we are coming for them just like we did OSU. They don't scare you. Tell the world. SHOW THE WORLD.

probably the stat sheet on their defense after our game last year. Well, that and perhaps we can count their HC doing the unthinkable...putting his belief that Bama's defense couldn't stop Clemson by an onside kick when there was plenty of time on the clock for them to get a three and out.
Yeah, if my coach didn't have confidence in me my self esteem would suffer too. They just need to turn on ESPiN and get their ego massaged a bit.

Uh we weren't getting any three and outs the rest of that game. Our defense was exhausted and that onside kick won that game for us.

Since we've lost so many WRs and our QB and have so many of our starting linemen out due to injury, right? Oh and our OCs are fresh out of grammar school, right?
Actually, we have two of our star WRs back from vacations, one injured and the other sent home by Dabo, not that a walkon didn't drop 14 on your '1985 Bears,' defense. Our linemen are all healthy and we're using the same QB and RB with our RB corp much deeper. One even passes for a WR.
You just restated my opinion using other words. Your coach didn't believe you could get the ball back by getting a three and out. The changes we've had have all been extremely positive so that has to instill confidence in your defense.

In my opinion them saying they were disrespected cause how our offense did against them even though they won is a slap in the face. The arrogance of it is like them saying how dare a team not bow down the them. They act like if you put up a fight and actually giving them a game that you are a disobedient servant. The hell with them and there high all mighty attitude.they need a reality check.

He says he is disrespected about 5 times; when the lady asked what he meant by that, he couldn't give her an answer. It really made little sense.

Thanks for posting that link. I did watch it and I don't believe that Ryan was talking about the Bama defense being disrespected. I think, and Booger McFarland confirmed it, that he was talking about himself. He has not gotten talked about by the sports talk people the way Minkah or Jonathan Allen or Tim Williams or Reuben Foster has all year long. He has a chip on his shoulder because of them, not because of Clemson or any other opponents.
In all due respect, some of y'all need to keep thinks in the proper perspective... Not withstanding, I think some Bama fans are just as irrational though...

tired of disrespect? Defensive MVP on an all-world defense? Ok, whatever. I know it takes a lot to stay at the top, even if it means inventing a chip to carry around on your shoulder. He is well coached to believe that, no doubt. HIS chip was obviously not scoring a defensive TD this year. He was disrespected by his teammates for that.
Again, he couldn't come up with an example to answer the question (personal or otherwise) from the media. The only example he could give would be from his coaches or teammates, who I'm sure have kept him hungry and angry. But the media? Not so.
But his response does show how Alabama self-motivates. They do it as a team because if they look around the whole world loves yall. This is actually a credit to your coaches as much as anything. But all illusions and delusions eventually come to an end. I just hope it's on Monday.

Saw a clip yesterday on ESPN with one of your defensive players (Maybe an LB) saying it. He said he felt disrespected because Clemson scored 40 and that Bama didn't play well on defense, blah, blah. New flash, Clemson felt disrespected by everybody last season. In addition, the coaches and players were pissed they lost to Bama.
I have neither the time, or interest in finding the clip. But, nobody "disrespects" Alabama Football, especially not Clemson. When you win 26 in a row you manufacture things to motivate you and that's all that's going on here.
Clemson's entire program feels disrespected, and they're still pissed off. Meanwhile, Bama doesn't even register on the "disrespect" meter.

Well, I suppose that is the closest thing that I've seen that might show Bama players are feeling disrespected. Thanks. I think the perspective is a bit misunderstood though. I doubt any Bama player feels disrespected in the same manner that USCe fans might be disrespected by Clemson fans. Likewise, the way Auburn fans might be disrespected by Bama fans and vise versa. I feel this "disrespect" was more inward for allowing Clemson to stay in the game the way they did last year. Of course, I didn't see the clip so I am just winging it here. Would need to watch/read it to have a better understanding...

Great teams have pride in everything that they do and just because they won last year doesn't mean that they didn't leave the game feeling that they may not have played their best. I don't think it's disrespect but is showing respect for our program. I believe they know that they were outplayed in many areas. I'd expect our team to feel the same way. For championship programs winning is not always enough.

up or performance against them last year. They credited nothing to Clemson. Said that they just had a bad game and they were going to show the world this time that that wasn't Bama football. Basically the same BS that Baker Mayfield say after we stomped them in the Orange Bowl.

Also the same thing FSU was saying last year. They felt disrespected for some in the media giving us a chance to win the ACC title. LOL. Kids.
