Any on have any new info on Kamara/Clemson? Are we pursuing?

If so, what are our chances of land in him?
Saw some on mention he's likely to end up here. Dalvin Cook is a Kamara clone, except Kamara was just rated a bit higher. Would be a nice counter punch to FSU fielding cook.

Just a gut feeling we lead for him. He was high on us to begin with and I think there is oppurtunity for him in our backfield. He reminds me a little bit of James Davis but with really good pass catching ability. A 200ish pound do all running back could be a perfect compliment if Dye or Gallman become the workhorse or he could be the workhorse himself.

I would think the rb depth chart would work against us unless a couple we think we have arent really going to be factors near term

I don't think oglesby or fuller make it in this year...

Dye and Brooks have been injury prone and Howard really has no business being in our RB rotation.
Kid gets on the field from day one if he comes bc the position battle is wide open right now. http://247sports.com/Player/Alvin-Kamara-16154?Institution=9681

Interesting UGA wasn't on the list reported he was considering

Both Gurley and Marshall would be draft eligible when he landed there. Maybe that head to head win was worth something.

He would have to sit two years if he went to UGA.......

BAMA wouldn't release him to a SEC school so he would have to sit two years verses one year with us............

Pretty sure the staff doesn't want a bama rejecf. Kid is a causality of bama over signing. Bama doesn't think he can play so sure our coaching staff wouldn't jump on board.

Is he carrying any baggage? Suspended and released doesn't sound good. Was it Saban freeing up a scholly? Anyway...

Almost forgot UGA was in the SEC seeing as they try to disown any team that loses to an ACC team.

If this was the NFL I'd take him.

Then I'd trade him for a good lineman.

Did you see Derrick Henry

And all the other TJ Yeldon clones Bama trotted out this season. I'm sure that's why this guy had "attitude" issues. He is an explosive RB I'll sure take him.

Sorry I'd use that spot for eric swinney. That's what it comes down to either take this kid ir don't take a rb in the next class. We are pretty high on a lot of big time rb list right now and we lead for swinney.

No Reject... kind of like our Dye. Many bama fans feels he's the best RB

On their roster, but he was injured in preseason camp which led to his red shirt. Easy to goof off when you're not a part of the week in week out game planning, and having to learn with the coaches depending on you.
He was just unfortunate to get injured and allow the other backs to solidify their jobs while he was sidelined.
Would be the most talented back on our roster the day he arrived at clemson. Plus, he's now ultra motivated with a major chip on his shoulder.
Dabo's theory is that of U. Meyer's in that he's willing to take a chance on one kid with behavioral risks per class, in hopes that the clemson family can transform him. If it doesn't work out, see bellamy. That was the same exact situation. A higher risk kid/5 star recruit we took a chance on, didn't work out. He got the boot.

Clemson recruited this kid and he is higher rated than any of our current running backs. Bama has had 2 heisman trophy winning RBs of late pretty sure they are deep at RB. Don't you think someone would be trying to get one of our WRs if we over signed and had to drop one.

Guys like Oglesby (sp?) and Brooks will probably start working at WR as well. Having this many skill guys is an OC's dream not a problem.

Especially if the coaches think Dye's back isn't going to hold up. I am worried for Dye.....having back surgery then playing football at this level......he is going to take a pounding. Hope he fairs well.
