Great to see Clemson tap into Texas high school football. We can get some great players. All the kids here don’t want to go to Texas or A&M. They both have a terrible history of player development. Clemson can compete with, Tech, Baylor, SMU, TCU, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Houston, OSU …… for some of the best players. Continuous coaching changes out here make it tough on recruiting players. Clemson will be a great choice for some of these prospects! Go Tigers!

I love expanding to Texas, Cali, wherever we need to go. Still imo, and I know the coaches are, we need to do what it takes in NC, VA, GA, FL, and Tenn. Keep trying to get the talent from Alabama and Louisiana when we can.
Shane and wally in unc are trying their best to keep us out of Virginia. Now we have competition from Elliott in VA too.

I like Dabo's jacket. Its hard to find Black or Grey with a white paw. Nike should get wise. Stuff would sell.

I would love to be a destination lone star state players want to come to. Oklahoma, TTU, Oklahoma State among others get the players Texas and A & M pick over.
I figure LSU and Bama are stocked enough to not have to lean on Texas as much. Same with a Few other schools in between.

I'm a person that has always felt that, each to their own was just fine with me, but with Clemson wear gear, I just couldn't ever have anything other than the Clemson Orange, white, or purple!!! Not saying that the grey, or the black looks bad, it just don't represent Clemson, or it's colors for me personally!!!

I’m old school when it comes to Clemson gear and clothes myself. I remember when the football coaches wore whatever hat the baseball teams wore. Probably ordered enough for all coaches of all sports. I still wear 90% of the time the baseball orange and purple hat. Still can’t get use to us wearing solid orange and solid purple hats. In the heat of summer the hats with white, guess it is to generate more sales?

Who wants to list the all time list of Texas players since the 80s to sign with Clemson? Just curious of their names without having to research it myself.

If Dabo start getting players from Allen High School in Texas I am done with him. North Shore and Katy High School Houston area schools have to goods every year. DeSoto, Guyer, Ryan and Lewisville in DFW area have great teams year round. Most important question for Dabo when he got to Allen did he eat at Whataburger Texas tradition

JUCO Outdoor Track Nationals was at Ratliff Stadium

Home to Permian and Odessa High School.
True story: My Soph year we arrived on Tuesday afternoon and went over to the stadium to see the track. The JV teams from Permian were having their spring scrimmage.
1) They must have had 80-100 kids out there for a spring scrimmage.
2) The kids were huge already.
3) Two were in neck braces on the sidelines.
4) We got back to the hotel and the JV Spring Scrimmage was on a local TV channel.
Football is everything there in Odessa.

This is very good news. Too many great players come from here (Texas) for Clemson to keep missing out.
Let's hope Cade Klubnik starts a tradition of getting a 5-star every year from down here.
Lastly, I didn't realize Chad Morris became the HC at Allen.
