I deal with this every year, someone brings a kid and somehow gets into our row and it’s crammed. I’m not a small guy, wide shoulders and half the time I’m standing sideways to fit, it’s bull ??

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Absolutely

Sep 5, 2019, 12:49 PM

...with it being sold out somebody may very well have to sit in that upper-deck seat.

If it were me me personally, I'd give myself about a 1% chance of getting into the lower deck with an upper deck ticket. You're gonna need help.

No offense - but cramming extra folks (even a little kid)

Sep 5, 2019, 1:04 PM

into seats for which they don't have a ticket is just plain rude. Seats at these high profile games are crowded enough without trying to cram two people into one seat. When folks do this they end up crowding other folks out of portions of their proper seats. People pay a lot of money for their seats and shouldn't be forced to "make room where this is no room" for folks without a proper ticket. Do the right thing and buy however many side-by-side tickets you need and don't infringe on other folks...

Sep 6, 2019, 5:09 AM [ in reply to Re: No offense - but cramming extra folks (even a little kid) ]

It's called being "considerate" of others.

When we're not considerate to one another civility breaks down. The best way to handle this is for the non-ticket holder to ask everybody in that row if it's "ok" to squeeze in an extra person. If not, then better luck next time.

Sep 6, 2019, 7:37 AM

Baby with me? Jerk.

Btw.. I see people with arses wide enough for 3 seats take up way more space than some 2 yr old sitting on his dad's lap.

I'm more than willing to be the "bad guy" in this story...

Sep 5, 2019, 1:41 PM [ in reply to No offense - but cramming extra folks (even a little kid) ]

For the record it's not about compassion - it's about the adult doing the "hard right" (i.e. spend the money to buy two tickets side by side) over the "easy wrong" (trying to save some money by cramming an extra person into a seat they are not authorized). I'd be more than happy to buy the little fellow a hotdog and a coke if they do the right thing (i.e. park their keesters where they have proper tickets).

He'll be in either his mother's, grandmother's, grandfather's, either aunt's, or my lap the entire game.. Save your self-righteous attitude for someone else. I'm sure other people do do some of the things you described.. I have not, and do not.

Sep 5, 2019, 3:41 PM

You're attempting, and most likely will, buck the system. Yet you're lecturing the ones who have given legitimate reasons why what you're doing is plain and simply wrong!

Furthermore. How many 3 year olds actually stay seated for 3 hours straight?

You take the upper seat and let your fam enjoy the lower seats. Problem solved.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's as bad as it gets.

Sep 5, 2019, 4:18 PM

First he's cramming in a kid into an already packed area. The kid is going to be doing annoying kid things like screeching and spilling stuff in said packed area. Once exhaustion from the heat sets in the kid will pass out, where? In someone else's seat.

I know from first hand by working security in the lower sections....the upper deck ticket will not scan if you try to come in the lower deck.

There must be at least one of those 6 adults you mention that love this child willing to sacrifice a little extra enjoyment for 3 hours by sitting in that upper deck seat so that your 3 year old has a seat. If not, sell the upper deck seat to pay for a sitter- the 3 year old really won’t “enjoy” the game all that much anyway. Do the right thing and don’t frustrate an entire row of people paying their hard-earned money for their seat.

How did this work out? This was on the first page of the threads so I was curious. Did you get the kid in with the upper deck ticket? How did the game go for the little fella in the 96 degree heat? I know I was hot and my wife didn't even go in the game. she stayed outside in the shade by a fan and watched on TV. I couldn't imagine a toddler on a lap in that heat.
.
Just curious as to the outcome.

Yes you do.

The only thing to do is you sit in the upper deck and let your little boy use your lower deck ticket.

If you have 2 lower deck tickets and 1 upper deck ticket. I know how to get all 3 of you into the lower deck. T-mail me, I don't want these others to see how its done. We do have a lot of over weight fans who have hard time fitting in their seats but if you could fit him on your lap or stand in front of you then it should be fine especially if you get aisle seat. Best of luck regardless.

Well I’m 5’11 232 lbs but I have a 33” waist. 10% body fat year round. I guess I’m clinically overweight by the standard but I bet you wish you look like me if you don’t. Your wife sure will. Either way, I don’t want to eat nothing but Ramen Noodles all year so that I can fit into the seat because people like you cram unauthorized guest into seats they didn’t pay for.

Tell your kid to stand beside the gate...

Go to your seats...

Report your child missing...

They'll bring him to you.

Problem solved.

As a matter of fact, I think it is three. Top Deck North and South don't connect internally like the lowers.

Maybe when the make it a bowl with a dome, they will connect.??

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

True! Good point. Three separate stadiums.

Sep 7, 2019, 8:16 AM

None of which connect.
