Dabo's friend is classless

In the Post and Courier today Urban was very dismissive of the thrashing the buckeyes got as it pertains to Clemsons talent. He waxed poetic about all the "power teams" they beat in regular season play. I truly believe line us up with their schedule and THIS CLEMSON TEAM. Would win. They are that determined. Any way he falls in line with every OSU fan I KNOW they are ALL RICHARDS.

I wouldn't go that far they have like 6 five star recruits committed and plenty more on the roster.I think they really miss Herman.

Virtually no questioning of Meyer, other than for his inability to replace Herman.
Other than that it's clear that the 0hi0 St fans revere Meyer in a nearly worshipful light. And I guess they are somewhat justified since he did win the natty for them just a few years ago.
He recruits well, but after re-watching a lot of the game I'd say our talent on defense is on par everywhere but MAYBE in the secondary; and our offensive weapons are all as good or better, especially at QB and WR.

is that coaching can be an equalizer or even a significant advantage.
I personally think that OSU is not as bad as they looked. It's sort of like how things went for us when WVU beat us so badly in a bowl game a few years back. Overall, as a team, we were not that bad, even with Steele. But, definitely, with Venables, we'd have had an entirely different game.
OSU is recruiting at an insane level.
Clemson seems able to really plug in the types of players to fit their team "puzzle" for optimal team success. Venables, also, has been a JEWEL for us.
Make no mistake though: This beatdown WILL cause OSU to make adjustments that could well lead to another national title. The beatdown was not all necessarily good for the rest of the college football world.
(It was still a lot of fun, though!)

The won a national title after they became more aggressive on defense. This year, I think the culprit is A) a very good Clemson D B) a young tOSU OL, and C) better talent on offense wearing orange at QB and WR in particular.
JTB is a class act, but he's not in Watson's league. I saw him seek out several Clemson players including Big Ben and Watson after the game to shake their hands. He might make it in the NFL, but not as a QB. In fact, he reminds me a lot of Tajh. He's a better leader than a QB.

To me, this isn't a big deal. It honestly reminds me of how Dabo always says "we can't beat Clemson" and how Clemson is the team on the schedule to beat. It's coach talk. Coaches think nothing of it, fans think it's the biggest deal in the world. He's not gonna jump on stage and talk about how bad Clemson whooped his ###, wouldn't do much for his program or his kids. Common sense
