On the second interception - wasn’t Tee held/tackled on the play? Appeared to be the case - but I haven’t heard that voiced by any of the players or coaches ... ?? Just wondering ...

If people were as good as their obituary - and products were as good as advertised - this would truly be a wonderful world !!

And I think that he was inbounds on the what should have been TD reception. I guess dragging two feet in bounds isn't always good enough in the ACC.

I wish yall were my teacher, I got terrible grades.

36 yd punt avg, bad as usual it seems. A badly missed fg. Ejection for a punch. A fumbled punt that almost resulted in a td or at the least a turnover.

One must look at the entire picture. B.T. did hit a 51 yarder. They made all the extra points. And B.T. hammered many kickoffs through the end zone, even the ones into the wind. Ngata alertly fell on the muff and also returned a kickoff to the 40. Combined with the negative ones you mention, B- seems about right to me.

What's the Tiger standard?

Louisville also had a 38 yard kick return that should have been less than 20 had we not had a few missed tackles.

Gettin apathetic on special teams again. Against great teams the Louisville result could have been the big L. Tigers are better that that, I hope.

agree except on special teams.

—Punts averaged 36 yds
—Missed a field goal
—Fumbled a punt
—threw a punch

Maybe a D? C? Not a B for sure.

"...hold a potent Louisville passing attack to 8-of-22 throwing for just 107 yards with two interceptions."

I know the flying Satterfields are rebuilding, but those are video game numbers from our Defense.

I don't understand a B for offense. We score 45 points with our second string in for most of the fourth quarter. We have over 500 yards of offense. Our third and fourth string running backs scored touchdowns. We had one touchdown called an incomplete pass. Yes, we had two pass interceptions. One the receiver was tackled while the ball was in the air. The second was poor pass route by the receiver. I can understand no A+, but B?

I see what you're sayin' but....

Oct 22, 2019, 8:42 AM

you can't light it up in 3 out of 4 quarters and expect to get an A.

If you take an exam with 20 questions on it, miss 4 of the first 5, but get the last 15 right, what grade would you expect? 16/20=80%

B seems about right.

So a quarterback that completes 89% of his passes is a "B" quarterback?
